Hurt people hurt people—
it’s the echo of pain passed on,
a chain unbroken in shadows,
where God once seen, is gone.

Their wounds speak in silence,
in anger, and in fear,
brothers fighting brothers
with hearts locked in tears.

But then—
Jesus, the Healer,
stepped into the ache,
He bore every burden,
forgave all our mistakes.

Now forgiven people forgive
and healed people heal
God is seen by purified hearts
and displays love that’s real.

And from His love,
a new song flows—
not of vengeance,
but of hope that grows.

So let His mercy
mend what’s past been torn,
Pursue peace with a heart now pure
God sends you out re-born.
